When and Where?
Our main Sunday services are at 10:30am, in the main hall of the church. Our entrance is on Exeter road. Our postcode is PL21 0BQ. There is a small car park to the side of our building, which is normally full by about 10.15am.
On the third Sunday of the month, we have an evening service at 5:30pm (though it is best to contact us ahead of time as this occasionally changes).
What to Expect?
On arrival, you will be warmly greeted by one of our team members and handed a hymn book. Bible’s are also available in the foyer should you not have your own.
Our services typically last for about an hour. On the first Sunday of the month, the service is followed by a time of communion (also known as the breaking of bread, where we remember the death of Jesus in a specific way by taking bread and wine).
Our Pastor or one of our elders will lead the service from the front. The service will include a welcome, some notices, prayer, readings from the Scriptures, a sermon and singing. We sing a variety of traditional and contemporary hymns and worship songs with musical accompaniment.
During the sermon, we usually have a Sunday school for children. For younger ones, there is a creche area with audio from the preaching pumped in. If you would like your children to join us in Sunday School please message Diane on 07947 055559 so we can make sure we have enough materials to hand.
After the service, there is a time for fellowship including hot drinks, biscuits and cake.
What Do I Bring?
The short answer is simply- yourself. We simply hope that visitors enjoy the service, are blessed by the fellowship and are challenged and changed by God’s word. We have no particular dress code, and the service is open to people of all ages.
