At IBC, we believe in an emphasis on team ministry with a plurality of elders. We see no Biblical distinction between the offices of ‘Pastor’ and ‘Elder.’ We currently have three elders who oversee the ministry of the church.

John Williams – Pastor

John Williams joined IBC to serve as Pastor in 2024. He is married to Joanna and together they have five children. John studied at the Theological College of North Staffordshire (now Calvary Baptist College). He is a council member for Prophetic Witness Movement International (PWMI) and a founding member of The International Society of Biblical Hermeneutics (ISBH).

Andrew Holland – Elder

Andrew Holland has been an elder in our church for several years. He joined IBC after retiring from full-time ministry, only to become interim Pastor between 2021-2024 and steer the church through a transitionary period. He is married to Diane, they have three children and two grandchildren.

Martin Hulbert – Elder

Martin Hulbert has been an elder at IBC for around a decade. He has previously served as Pastor in churches in Newbridge, Plymouth, Newport and North Devon. He and his wife Enfys have two children and five grandchildren.
